Dr. Smith earned his Optometry Doctorate from the University of Houston, and has been seeing patients for over 15 years. He earned his BA in Chemistry from the University of North Texas.
Dr. Smith excels in all aspects of vision care, and has particular interest in contact lenses and managing potentially high-risk medications. He specializes in treatment of Glaucoma, Diabetes, and co-management of Cataracts and Refractive Surgery, including LASIK. Dr. Smith has successfully helped many patients through the entire process of surgery, guiding them through each step along the way.
For patients who don't speak as much English, Dr. Smith also performs exams in Spanish.
Dr. Smith has also served as the President, as well as Treasurer of the Northwest Texas Optometric Society, a local division of the Texas Optometric Association. When he's not working hard to provide patients with fantastic vision care, Dr. Smith also enjoys traveling with his wife Glynda, and taking his motorcycle out for a spin.
